„This hotel needs modernisation. I would not have been happy to be here on a very hot day. It is not very accessible. As I have arthritis I found accessing the first floor quite difficult. Breakfast was great the staff were great“

„We had a lovely stay whilst visiting wookey hole. Lovely room, it was an ajoining room so great for families. Comfy big bed and great home cooked breakfast. Would defo stay again“

„Lecker Frühstück, tolle Lage in Strandnähe“

„Aamir and Tony are the best in class! I only can recommend to stay at the Kings Arms!“

„We were only there one night and didn’t eat there in the evening but breakfast was excellent. Room was spacious with excellent open plan bathroom facilities. Pleasant walk into Sidmouth ( approx 3.5 ) miles round trip Ticked all the boxes for what we needed. Would stay again“

„Lovely place to stay and very welcoming with great restaurant“

„Good central location with plenty of space in the room and excellent parking. Lightening was insufficient since bedside lights broken or no bulb. Upgrade of interior (one of the 2 rooms) would benefit the property especially for the cost charged.“

„The breakfast was superb. It was so nice having a breakfast that was individually cooked and delivered to the table hot. The property is old and the floor in my room was at a slight incline. Not a problem at all but I did describe it as being like the house in the film of The Ladykillers - and that is with total affection as I love that film. Ate in the restaurant on one evening - good food and a good price. Would recommend!“

„No dislikes with anything at the Dukes and always love staying there. Bed superbly comfortable. One little niggle not quite ready for winter duvets but forgot to ask for something lighter“

„Der Blick auf die Brücke und den Fluss fanden wir toll. Muffiger Geruch und klebrige Tische. Das Personal im Pub war sehr freundlich.“
