„We had the most amazing stay at gara rock . The place is beautiful and set in amazing beachside settings with breathtaking views. Everything is exceptional, the hotel, the setting, the food and the staff. They really made the stay fantastic as they went above and beyond to accommodate you and make sure you have the best stay. They were so friendly and helpful every single one of them. We didn’t want to leave. We will definitely be returning! “

„Have just enjoyed a 3 night stay with a friend. Beautiful hotel in unique location in quiet South Sands beachy cove. Lots of ways to get to Salcombe town centre either walking (a bit hilly), hotel shuttle car or water ferry. Rooms have stunning decor and bathrooms are very well appointed. Service throughout the hotel is excellent and very friendly. Enjoyed both breakfast and dinner in the hotel restaurant. Good value & again great service throughout but with particular mention of lovely service ...

„the Hotel was fine and the service okay. We had a room with a balcony overlooking the estuary which had a nice view and got the the sun in the morning and afternoon. We had dinner the first night which was good. My only concern was the cost. We are retired and frequently holiday/travel and so stay in numerous miserly 4 and 5 star hotels. So the nightly cost of £400 seemed extremely high for this trip especially as you had to pay an extra £10 for a cooked breakfast and got charged 12.5% service ...

„Ein wenig enttäuschend war das Drumherum: in der Gaststube sind Hunde am und unter den Tischen & Stühlen erlaubt. Bei dem Wetter stinkt es also nach nassem furzendem Hund - da macht Essen und Trinken keinen Spaß ... bei ca. 10 Hunden“
