„The property was very nice with a large yard. There were a lot of songbirds and an eagle! House was very clean with everything you need. We explored the area doing a lot of hiking and was a very relaxing place to come back to. The porch is amazing even when it rained. There are 2 benches at the creek but it's easier if you bring camp chairs for the firepit which we didnt have. A wonderful place to stay!!“

Joe provided open communication throughout the process and was an excellent host! We have stayed in other lodges but the “Octagon” by far has been one of our best stays!!!“

„The cabin is in a beautiful mountain setting surrounding by picturesque forest. Everything was clean and well stocked. Beds were comfortable and living spaces accommodating. The outside yard and picnic area was spacious and a great spot to stargaze with family. Great home base to get to Pine Creek and the Rail Trail, PA Grand Canyon, Ski Sawmill, Cherry Springs State Park, and countless hiking trails. Easy to communicate with the host.
