„It's like sitting in the wilderness but right there in your face. All the wildlife around you that doesn't care you are there. Had a very close visit by an osprey, bald eagle and lots of turkey vultures. Daisy duck will certainly keep you entertained. „this is a very charming “old Florida” hotel that is 160 years old. It has withstood many hurricanes and weather issues over the years but remains a “grand old lady” in the heart of Cedar Key. „This is an elevated, older home on the water. Its elevation provides excellent views from the waterfront porch. The house is well maintained and equipped. Since it is elevated, it did not suffer damage from the recent hurricanes, as did neighboring residences. One of the docks was replaced; the fish cleaning station was rebuilt, but it is not screened in. No internet was a bit of a hassle, but strong 5G reception offset it.The only negative was that the listed TV and Spectrum connection did not ...

„someone else was in our unit. We had to take a different one. The fridge was not working and the a/c fan was very loud. I don't think they were ready for guests yet. Once a few more repairs are done it will be a great spot. We will go back.“

„My husband and adult son stayed 2 nights while visiting family in Cedar Key. This was exactly what we were looking for as we only slept and showered here. Across the street from Annie's which was on our agenda and highly recommend! Walked to the beach and checked out the downtown shops. I can't speak on the kitchen amenities as we did not use them. We were not aware there isn't a grocery store on the island.“

„What an amazing stay at Cedar Key. We occupied the upper floor. Everything about our stay was perfect. It was very quiet, comfortable, very clean, the view was absolutely beautiful with amazing sunsets. It was nice to sit on the deck and watch people fishing. Everything was in walking distance. The trip was very calming. The communication was excellent, couldn’t have been any better. I would highly recommend this property. “

„We've been visiting Cedar Key once a year for 20 years now and I feel like we've stayed in half the houses on the island and most of the condos. But this little house is a favorite: comfortable, cute and quirky.
