„First the hotel doesn't make any sense because though it is relatively close to the airport a taxi ride from/to the airport costs 20 Euros each way (that's when the driver doesn't try to cheat you and charge 33 Euros as was my case). So it is more expensive than travelling by taxi from the center of Napoli... Though the hotel is quite modern all the furniture in the room is very cheap and makes a lot of noise when being opened and closed. “

„Unsleepable—Loud events and smoke smell If you actually want to sleep, avoid this hotel. It is located right in the middle of multiple event halls that blasted incredibly loud music until 2:00 AM. Because of the nonstop noise, we couldn't sleep at all, which was miserable since we had to check out at 6:00 AM. To make matters worse, there was a strong smell of smoke throughout the hallway and inside our room. The only saving grace was the staff—they were very nice and polite, but unfortunately, ...

„I couldn't sleep because of the noise from the bathtub; it was incredibly annoying. It would startle me every time I tried to sleep. I complained three times, but they didn't change my room. I was only sleeping three hours a day, and it wasn't good sleep because I was going to bed at 4 a.m. Also, there wasn't a balcony as advertised. I wanted to enjoy my vacation and relax; I didn't know I would suffer.“

Royal Continental Hotel Naples

"We stayed at the Royal Continental Hotel in Naples for the second time, and this time we even brought friends with us because we wanted them to experience this wonderful mid-century icon for themselves. The location directly on the seafront is simply fantastic, with beautiful views across the Bay of Naples. The hotel still has a very special sense of elegance and glamour that evokes the golden age of La Dolce Vita. For anyone who appreciates mid-century architecture and design, it is a place with real character. A particular highlight is the iconic rooftop pool designed by Gio Ponti - truly unique and one of the reasons this hotel feels so special. The rooms are very spacious, comfortable and impeccably clean. Another highlight is the breakfast room, with its wonderful panoramic view of the sea. Starting the day with that view is a real pleasure. Our only small suggestion would concern the vegan breakfast options. As vegans, we would have appreciated a slightly wider selection, especially things such as vegan croissants or other vegan pastries. It is only a small detail, but it would have made an already wonderful stay even better. Overall, we once again had a fantastic experience at the Royal Continental. Its location, architecture, atmosphere and unique design make it a very special place in Naples - and certainly a hotel we would happily return to again."

"Sehr schöner Aufenthalt. Wenn man sich bewusst entscheidet in Bahnhofsnähe zu übernachten ist das ein top Hotel. Wir haben sogar ein kostenloses Zimmerupgrade bekommen. Schöne Aussicht auf den Vesuv. Zum Frühstück können wir nichts sagen da wir kein Frühstück gebucht haben"

"Gute, zentrale Lage. Räume gut gekühlt. Schöne Dachterrasse. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis gut. Frühstück „hat Luft nach oben“: Säfte übersüß, nur 1 Kaffeeautomat - man musste anstehen. Service für Kaffee erst am 2. Tag. Hotel ist empfehlenswert !"

"Ein wunderschön und geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Stadthotel im Zentrum von Sorrent. Der Service und die Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter waren ausgezeichnet. Besonders die Hotelmanagerin ist hier lobend zu erwähnen, die sich jeden Tag bei jedem Gast persönlich beim Frühstück erkundigt, ob alles ok ist. Auch im Vorfeld der Reise wurde man per Mail gefragt,ob man Fragen hat etc. So konnte man einen gut organisierten Shuttle-Service vom Flughafen zum Hotel in Anspruch nehmen. Auch bei der Planung von Ausflügen bekommt man Unterstützung. Das Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen. Alles in allem eine hervorragende Unterkunft. "
