The house was not clean and the house definately could use some TLC. Many repairs need to be done to this house! Many outlets don't work properly, the dryer vent needs to be cleaned out because the lint screen has been broken for a long time apparently since I pulled out dryer sheets and a ton of lint (plus a few of articles of clothing got ruined :(. The dishwasher is inoperable and all of the dishes had to be hand washed because they were filthy. The bathrooms were not cleaned neither were the floors prior to our arrival. The mattresses are tired and need to be replaced. I called the management company and they didn't really seem to care about how dirty everything was.....

Solid place

Place was as roomy as advertised and comfortably fit 5 couples. It’s very vertical with lots of stairs. The elevator is a bit dinky and mostly useful for packing and unpacking but it’s really great for that. The beds were not made when we got there which annoyed everyone. The view is indeed beautiful. The place was overall great, and accommodated our friends trip really well.

Wonderful Weekend at Carolina Beach

We stayed here for a friend’s low key bachelorette beach weekend and it was absolutely perfect. Spacious, beachfront, and the pool is great to have. Walking distance to a bunch of beach restaurants and businesses. Would love to stay here again if I find myself at Carolina Beach.

Location was perfect! The size of the home was also great for a large family gathering. It was very nice to have three master suites. Our only negative was the condition of the pillows and comforters on the bed. They were very stained. The home did not have beach or pool towels and we ended up buying some. This property was very close to lots of restaurants and we loved watching the dolphins play every morning from the deck. Overall we had a great family get together.

50th Birthday

Amazing property!!! We had a wonderful time with very few constructive criticisms, but those critiques need to be communicated: the floors needed to be mopped and the windows needed to be cleaned. There are not nearly enough eating utensils. This house sleeps 14, but we didn't have enough forks for the six of us. I went full on Viking with a two-pronged carving fork and a butcher knife to eat steak. Made for a cool picture, but for the price of this rental, we really should've had proper utensils. The swing on the second deck needs to be replaced and one of the loungers poolside as well. Very minor inconveniences, but like I said, for the money, these items shouldn't be an issue at all. Loved our stay!!!

Easy Access

Great location. The weather was terrible but we cannot control that. We did have a problem with the two of the bathrooms having their GFI outlets not working. One of the doors on the upper level out to the patio was extremely hard to open and another on the upper level patio was rotted. Both need some attention. The stove could use replacement as well. But everything was perfect. Great place on the ocean. Close to everything. The caretaker was also on vacation but did send someone over to help with the problems. Definitely recommend this place for future stays.

Great Place!

We really enjoyed our stay at Sandy Dunes. The floor plan was perfect for our group, the location was perfect, and only steps to the beach. The heated pool was a real bonus for our group because the weather was cool. The property manager is quick to reply and super friendly. High marks for this property. I could see renting both sides for a giant family reunion.

WHS friends reunion

Eight women stayed at the property. There is ample sleeping space with 3 suites and two other bedrooms. The multiple Floors make sleeping and getting ready very easy and you can get away from traffic. Justus was our go-to guy and he was fantastic. He took care of our every need. The pool was heated to 85 and we spent every afternoon there. The location is good, .6 mile North or south to bars, eating. The home is totally sound proof. We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing Beach home!

The house was even better in person. Having a private pool and a walkway directly to the beach was incredible. The communication with the property owner and property manager was quick and easy. We all loved our stay. We are hoping to be back next year!

We found the house not well cleaned in some areas. The bunk bed looked as if someone just got out of it. Mattress on the floor. Dirty showers. Bed bugs on the bed in a room. The bed had blood stains on sheet and pillow. This combination things . led to us leaving.

Nice house.

Nice house in a nice location. The pool was a very nice option with children. The only complaints were the cleanliness. The floor was very gritty with sand upon arrival. We had to sweep. Black gunk came out of the bath faucets when we went to brush our teeth. When we wiped the faucet , the underside had black gunk on them like they had not been cleaned in quite some time. Same with the vents. The cleaning staff needs to use a brush attachment on the sweeper to clean the vents.

Beautiful location!

Our group went down to get away from the craziness of 2020 and ring in the new year together. The house was well kept, and the homeowners were quick to respond to any needs or services we asked for. Overall a great experience and we will be coming back this summer!

Terrific Trip

Our group of 12 ladies came for a reunion long weekend. We absolutely loved being ocean front and having a heated pool this time of year. The house, golf carts, and views were fabulous😊 Several in the group commented how well the house was insulated and “neighbor noise” was not a problem! Jessica (property manager) was always delightful and easy to talk to and quick to respond. The six seater golf cart was the bomb! Highly recommend this place and Carolina Beach and surrounding area is charming, friendly, and safe🏖🌴

Wonderful beach getaway

This is a wonderful beachfront home on Carolina Beach, good location, the pool is perfect, views are great. The elevator makes unloading the car a breeze. Always received a quick response from the owner on any questions I had before the check-in. We rented the golf cart with the home and it was great, we were able to park our car and use the golf cart to get around to the shops and restaurants. We’ll definitely be back!
