„We have enjoyed a fantastic 2 night stay, the location was spot on only 2 minutes to Lake Windermere and the ferry landing point. Colin is the perfect host, very attentive, knowledgeable of the area and looked after us well. Breakfast was a lovely; full English in a cosy setting. The room was fine with all amenities. It was our birthdays whilst there and Colin decorated the room, these touches are most appreciated. Definitely recommend 10/10“

„Location was perfect right in the centre of historic Hawkshead ask about car parking at the primary school. On Suite was very small, the vanity didn’t drain properly, the sensor light is a pain when you don’t want to wake-up your partner at night! A common problem with all accommodation in the Uk is that only having a Duvet on the bed to hot to use and worst no top sheet, Duvets are to hot in winter because of the heating and to hot in summer with no air conditioning and with no ventilation ...

„We can't recommend Storrs Gate House enough, such a good break away here. Susann and Glenn are amazing hosts, such friendly, lovely people. Breakfasts were incredible and definitely set you up for the day, we are missing those breakfasts! The house is so beautiful, our room was perfect, plenty of space and beautifully decorated. Our celebratory time away was made all the more special staying at Storrs Gate, we would definitely like to stay here again, thank you for such a lovely stay.“

„Schreckliche Erfahrung! Es war sehr hellhörig, in einem schlechten Zustand und dreckig. Die Fotos spiegeln nicht die Realität wieder. Die Zimmer sind sehr klein. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist schlecht (ca. 140€ pro Nacht). Keine Hygieneartikel vorhanden, Fenster lässt sich nicht komplett schließen. Ein Ansprechpartner war nicht erreichbar. „Fantastic central location in Bowness - an abundance of shops and restaurants are on the doorstep, and the jetty is a just a short walk away. The allocated parking is a huge benefit. The garden outside the property is absolutely stunning, and the room was spacious, spotless, comfortable and full of charming character (the Puddle-Ducks theme was a lovely touch). The morning breakfast hamper with breads, fruit, yogurt, and juice was really nice too. Highly recommended“

„Stayed in room 6 on the top floor for a romantic weekend away with the Mrs. The room was lovely and the bath was a really nice added extra. We had a slight issue with one of the radiators not heating which caused the room to be cold, however I called one of the provided numbers and an electric heater was provided within literally 5 minutes by a lovely girl working there.
