„House is cute and in a nice walkable neighborhood. The upstairs of the home (kit, living room, dining) was nice. Owners had a great coffee area set up, only thing was there were not coffee filters, so we didn't get to take advantages of the coffee. The downstairs was disappointing, the carpet is stained and the downstairs area smells. I guess this is good for those who have their pets (which we did not). „Fine property but several inconveniences. Upstairs shower is very small, not usable for any adult or teenager, so expect to only have one shower. Additionally main shower head is damaged and has a significant leak out the bottom of the head. No kitchen trash bags or paper towels were provided so we had to go buy some. Overall it was good for a weekend stay where we weren't at the house much.“

„Check in was smooth and easy, we had the code the day before sent to us so we were ready to go. All the host asked was for us to let them know when we left. The house was very clean and the furnishings were cute and comfortable. The sheets smelled really clean like they’d just been washed. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Carlsbad Caverns or Guadalupe it was a great location to see both.“

„My parents live in Carlsbad and we needed a house for all our family who came to visit. The property has a lot of potential and decorated very nicely but it is really in need of some maintenance. The pool was dirty although I was told it was clean. We brushed it out but the filters Don’t work properly. The railing into the pool is broken and potentially dangerous. „We enjoyed the stay immensely at La Cueva! The three bedrooms were perfect for our family of five. It allowed the kids space to spread out and relax after a long drive to Carlsbad, as well as after some long days visiting both Carlsbad Caverns and Guadalupe Mtns NPs. „The property was exactly as advertised and was clean and easy to access. Not a lot of outdoor area but close to several parks/playgrounds so worked great. We stayed here several nights as we visited Carlsbad Caverns and Guadalupe Mountains National Park - we were close enough to visit those easily and in an area where we had easy access to anything we needed. House was clean and everything about check in and out were easy!“

"Ehrlicherweise waren wir von der Unterkunft enttäuscht. Gerade, wenn man bedenkt, dass das Hotel so bei ist, ist es schon erschreckend, wie viele Macken es schon hat. Wirklich sauber war es nicht. Wir hatten Haare von früheren Gästen im Bad, auf dem Boden war auch Dreck und auf dem Bett und in den Handtüchern fanden sich diverse Rückstände früherer Gäste. Als wir die Flecken auf dem Bettbezug bemerkt haben, haben wir den man am Empfang angesprochen und er hat die Decke frisch bezogen. Aber als wir immer mehr Flecken fanden, machte es einfach keinen Sinn mehr. Für den recht hohen Preis hätten wir zumindest ein wirklich sauberes Zimmer erwartet. "
