As a retired commercial airline pilot with hundreds of hotel visits, this was the worst experience I've ever had! Booked for 5 days. Checked in and front desk clerk gave us very little information. A text later asked if I had questions or issues. I responded that I didn't know the hours for breakfast and that there was a dirty washcloth hanging from the shower bar. I recall hearing/reading that housekeeping came every 3rd day to clean rooms. We put all our towels on the floor anticipating housekeeping. Upon later return that night we found the room was not cleaned. We had to pick our dirty towels up off the floor to use the next day. As I went to get breakfast that day I stopped by the front desk. The desk clerk was so engrossed watching a video on her phone that she didn't even see me standing there and ignored me. When we came down later to leave, I stopped and asked the desk clerk, "What's the deal with housekeeping?" I was immediately confronted with accusations of being rude. The discussion quickly devolved into more accusations. I was told housekeeping had passed by my room because there was a Do Not Disturb sign on the door at 10:30 AM. Was shocked to discover that housekeeping did not stop by later to check if the room was free to be cleaned. After being told the manager was not on the property and wouldn't return for 2 days, we took her business card. I called the manager and left a frantic message asking her to return my call but never got one. Will NEVER return!
