„Für uns ein perfekter Zwischenstopp auf der Rückreise von Nordschottland zurück zur Fähre in Dover. Großzügiges 4 Bettzimmer mit 1 Doppelbett und 2 richtigen Einzelbetten (keine Beistellbetten) en-suite Bad. Liebevoll eingerichtet (mit 2 Sessel, Tisch, Kühlschrank etc.), sehr sauber. Viel Platz für Familie mit 2 Teenager-Kindern. Besitzerin Alison ist super freundlich und serviert ein perfektes, leckeres, schottisch/englisches Frühstück nach Wunsch. „We finished our summer holiday at this lovely castle and everything was just perfect. We were treated so nicely and couldn’t have asked for more. I particularly liked the tasteful design of the bathroom and felt taken back a few decades. There is a lovely cat that likes to be cuddled and a award-winning garden outside. The owners are very helpful and enjoy chatting with their guests, we were even provided with the perfect guide for a scenic tour about the area. Nevertheless a word of warning: ...

„Es war ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt. Der einzige Kritikpunkt wäre, dass es sehr hellhörig ist, wenn man ein Zimmer im Erdgeschoss hat. Wir haben die Gäste über uns die ganze Zeit hin und her gehen hören und die Spülung des Badezimmers. Ansonsten war es ein tolles Zimmer und neuwertig eingerichtet.“
