„Mein Mann und ich haben das Thikana als Standort für unseren Indienaufenthalt gewählt. Der letzte Besuch dauerte 8 Tage. Wir haben uns wie zu Hause gefühlt. Liebevolle Betreuung durch die Besitzer Sheetal und Atul und das Personal. Sehr anregend waren die Gespräche morgens um den großen Frühstückstisch. Wir werden im kommenden Herbst auf jeden Fall wieder dort wohnen.“

„The studio is so much nicer than the deluxe twin… more spacious, feels a lot more like an apartment than a hotel room. Lovely terrace accessible from the bedroom and good water pressure in this one. My complaint about stiff bedsheets is valid here too, I think duck feather bedsheets would make the place more cozy.“

„Colonel's Retreat isn't a fancy hotel with a pool. It's in a safe & quiet residential area and it has a "soul". The rooms are a good size, excellent shower and very comfy bed. The staff are lovely, they even when we had an early train offered a takeaway breakfast. They also organised all our pickups and drop offs very efficiently. „The rooms are well-equipped, modern and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. If you have (like in my case) a room on 1st floor facing the street, you will have quite some noise from the street. Metro station is just 50 m from the hotel.“

„Wonderful! Can’t be beat! This homestay was a throwback to being in Delhi in the late 90s, early 2000s. Perfect location: safe, South Delhi, easy access to several markets and nearby neighborhoods.
