Much better
We stayed at the hotel many times over the last few years as its close to family in Tongwynlais. The old decor has been completely redone and the hotel is looking amazing. We had a problem with our booking but the staff were very helpful and made sure that our stay was a good one. I'd recommend the hotel to anyone visiting the local area. It did however get quite noisey on Saturday evening with lots of partying in the rooms.

There was a mix up over the room when we arrived. I had booked a room for two adults and one child but the hotel staff said that they had been informed that the room was for two adults only. They said that they could arrange a put up bed for our son and were very helpful. Later on a member of staff came to our room and said that they could transfer us to another room (due to a cancellation) where there was a spare bed already made up. When I came home I checked my travel confirmation and it did say it was for two adults and a child although the writing is quite small and in blue ink. Perhaps this should be highlighted on the form and made clearer. The hotel itself was lovely with brand new rooms. It did say on your description of the hotel that there was a fitness club open to all guests with a pool, jacuzzi, .etc. This was the main reason for choosing this hotel . It was closed due to refurbishment which Expedia should have known . I was not impressed with Expedia to be honest.

Modern friendly hotel
Modern friendly hotel with good facilities and very obliging staff. We were a party of 1 adult and four children visiting for one night only. Room size perfect and delicious breakfast in the morning.
