We were able to work out out of the dining room for the few days they were in town. The Wi-Fi was great, the property was very clean and very well put together and we had a great stay. „Although we live only 25 minutes away, we had never been to this lake. Definitely off the grid as written and we found the cottage charming as a 1922 cottage could be. We were surprised at the noise from a local event center on Sunday evening, but they got quiet after 10pm. Boaters were active until 11pm on the weekends which also surprised us. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday mornings were nice and peaceful. You must be able bodied to access the lake from this cabin. The common beaches had ...

„We stayed for 2 nights to attend an event at Springfield College. 'We' were 5 adults, 2 kids and 2 dogs. While it is pet friendly there were no remnants of any pets from previous renters. It is an OLD farmhouse that was immaculate and comfortably furnished. It is stocked with plenty of towels and all the kitchen utensils and appliances needed. The property is very quiet and relaxing. Plenty of parking and a nice backyard for active kids.“

"Actually nicely located but unfortunately the building needs a total makeover. Old fashioned bathrooms, old carpets, horribly noisy fridge in the room and a toilet flush that was earsplitting loud. Staff not very flexible when arriving earlier and ask to park the car and not very communicative to tell you where the Downtown area is…. All in all acceptable for one night, but not longer!"
