„Chalets? You wish. Shacks, if anything. Apparently no updates since the 1950s, the place is a run-down, worn-off dump. Thin walls and drafty windows offer no insulation against the cold or the noise from the highway. Both mattresses and linen are decades old and impossible to find sleep in. The kitchen cabinet is falling apart and the cutlery is so disgusting I wouldn’t put it anywhere near my mouth. Oh and did I mention the mold in the shower? I’d rather spend the night in my car than 450 CAD ...
„Very friendly and helpful staff. The lodges are in a relatively good location, and you can reach downtown Banff very quickly from the bus stop right next door. We were also provided with a free 3-day bus pass. Another positive feature is the hot tub, which is even open until 11 p.m. Unfortunately, the room itself was relatively dark and, despite the lighting, not very inviting. The furnishings are a bit dated.“
