„Had a fun stay while visiting relatives! The view from the hilltop property is gorgeous. It has the feel of a genuine working farm. We watched as one of the most enormous Scottish Highland cattle was being readied for show. As intimidating as they look, they seem to be more like giant labradors. There was a friendly dog and two calves as well.We didn’t have a need, but the full kitchen seems to have all the basics. The D-suite with the extra room is a huge space.“

„Great stay for a ski weekend at Okemo. Colin was a very responsive host and the house was clean with a well stocked kitchen for cooking. The hot tub was well maintained and great after a day on the mountain. “

„Most dangerous environment for a family. Cabin was remotely located with no electricity and indoor toilet. Photographs posted do not do justice. I paid in full but after looking in person chose not stay because of safety, security and privacy. Staff was friendly. “

Everything about this stay was easy - 20min drive to the slopes, 15 min to downtown Rutland, and an extremely well-equipped house to easily accommodate the six of us. Superb communication from the host both prior to and during our stay (promptly answered several questions for us). If you want a vintage farmhouse feel as opposed to a modern condo-style stay, this is the place for you!“
