In season, enjoy farm-fresh eggs from our lovely hens. Just bring your food and beverages of choice to settle right in!We have a bar and four bar stools located in the kitchen. We also provide tv trays, located upstairs or you can enjoy eating outside or in the breezeway in the fresh air at the patio table.

Just a short drive to Miguel’s, natural bridge & the general store, the Barn Owl at Red River Gorge is a MUST! We were welcomed with local coffee, farm fresh eggs and local honey really made our check-in extra special.

The Barn Owl is absolutely beautiful. Location is so peaceful and relaxing. Lauren the host is so sweet. She really has thought of everything (decor/amenities)...you couldn't ask for anything more. My husband and I came down from Wisconsin for a week of bourbon and relaxing, the last leg was at this beautiful cabin to fully relax before heading back to reality and it was beyond perfect! Wow!! This property is stunning and we felt welcomed from the start!

This property is absolutely gorgeous! The hosts were amazing and was so welcoming and made us feel right at home! So many extras are available to use they literally thought of everything. The recreation part of the barn was so unique and fun, our family loved the hot tub, hammock, and the Ale 8 stocked fridge! The bathroom felt like a spa experience! Amazingly soft towels and a multi shower head shower that left the entire family saying wow! Walking the property was fun and we loved seeing the farm animals. The location is close to Red River Gorge so we had tons of trails and experiences close by but we had the privacy of the location that wasn’t busy at all. We would stay here again for sure! Thanks to Lauren and family for a wonderful vacation experience!

This was our favorite stay on this trip by far! They were so kind and accommodating. We enjoyed this very clean and quiet country setting including a nice clean hot tub and fire pit and yard games. My husband & I did a quick getaway to Red River Gorge to celebrate our anniversary. After a day of hiking the Barn Owl was the perfect place to relax. It was even better than the pictures! We loved the hot tub but especially loved all the animals on the property. We will definitely be back.

Overall a great barn! Very unique in what they have done with this place. Our favorites were the hot tub in the breezeway, best we have experienced! The shower is awesome and the bed was very comfortable. Be sure to visit the farm animals just up the hill. They are very friendly and the pack of dogs as well! What we wanted/needed

GREAT place! We had only booked 2 nights with the thought that 1) we'd be able to get an early start for a full day of hiking, 2) the hot tub was going to work out all of our body aches at the end of the day. Sadly, we had to bypass the hiking, but spending 40 hours (minus meal runs) ensconced in a place like this was a fantastic plan B (next time I'll bring popcorn for the air popper)! We had amazing fall foliage out the bedroom windows in the morning, and a beautiful moon filtering through the trees at night. If you need complete darkness to sleep, bring a mask as there are no curtains on the windows (as of yet). Not an issue for us, but it could be for some? We would love to come back!
