Charming 3Bed Victorian Home PLUS 1 Bed Annexe

This newly refurbished Victorian home offers a fantastic amount of space while retaining the character and charm you would expect from a traditional Cambridge property.

As you enter, you’ll find a beautiful hallway with newly laid flooring leading through to a comfortable living area with a Smart TV, double sofa and two armchairs. There is also a separate dining area with a table seating up to six guests.

For families travelling with little ones, we provide a travel cot which guests are very welcome to put up during their stay. Please note that we do not provide cot bedding, as we appreciate that babies and young children will usually require their own familiar bedding, and for hygiene and safety reasons.

The brand-new kitchen is fully equipped for your stay and includes a washing machine, separate tumble dryer, microwave and everything you need for cooking and dining.

Upstairs you’ll find three comfortable double bedrooms and a newly fitted family bathroom with a shower over the bath.

Garden & shared access

As is common with Victorian terraced homes in Cambridge, access to the rear of the property is via a shared gated alleyway. Our neighbours also use this passage to access their home and to bring bicycles in and out. It is predominantly very quiet, but we want guests to be aware that this access is shared.

The main garden has a picnic bench and is a lovely spot to sit outside. A section is intentionally not completely fenced so that our neighbours can continue to access their property via the shared passageway.

Private garden studio

At the rear of the garden is a newly refurbished, self-contained one-bedroom studio, giving larger groups a wonderful additional space and extra privacy.

The studio has its own private, fully fenced outdoor area with two chairs – perfect for enjoying a glass of wine at the end of the day. Inside, there is a comfortable seating area, double bedroom, shower room and kitchenette.

The kitchenette includes a second washing machine, hob, microwave and air fryer for basic cooking (please note there is no conventional oven). There is also a fold-out dining table seating two.

The studio works particularly well for two families travelling together, grandparents or another couple who would appreciate their own space, or parents with a baby who may prefer a little additional privacy while still being part of the wider group.

The house and studio are designed for guests visiting Cambridge to explore the city, spend time with family and friends, or for corporate groups who appreciate having individual bedrooms and plenty of communal space.

Please note: parties and events are strictly not permitted at this property. We ask all guests to respect our neighbours and enjoy the home as a peaceful and comfortable base during their time in Cambridge.

Parking

Street parking is available around the property and, generally, guests are able to find a space nearby. As with any central Cambridge location, availability can vary depending on the time of day. If there isn’t a space directly outside when you first arrive, there is additional street parking throughout the surrounding roads, so you may initially need to park a little further away. Spaces regularly become available throughout the day, often allowing you to move your car closer to, or directly outside, the property later in your stay.
