This house was perfect for our multigenerational family trip to Cambridge from Canada for a wedding. There was plenty of space on 3 floors, the layout of different rooms offered options for different activities, the washer dryer was a godsend with so many children, the beds were super comfortable and there were toys and books for the two 3 and half year olds (very thoughtful) and high chair for the baby. The kitchen was modern with a cappuccino machine, very nice, and a little fenced in yard at the back for playing outdoors. We appreciated the fans in the heatwave!Nicola was a great communicator, responded immediately to every query and told us every detail we needed to know about the bus routes into town, close by and easy to take. Very helpful when arriving in a strange town. The only downside to our stay was the fact that the house is a new build, and is not integrated into any system known to other hotels and taxi companies. We tried two different taxi companies and it was the same problem. The address and postal code are not really helpful it seems, and we had a couple of very hairy times with cabs failing to find us even once when we were inside trying to tell the driver where to go! Our adult children managed by telling the drivers to drop them off near the bus stop and walking in, but as older people sometimes with suitcases we needed a cab to the front door. Perhaps a conversation with the taxi companies would help? And some further guidance on the website?
