„We stayed here for a graduation at LMU. Uncle Ernie's was one of the best VRBOs we have ever stayed in. It was clean, comfortable and convenient. The hosts have thought of everything to make your stay fantastic. Communication was top notch. I would book this every time I went if I still had a student at LMU.“

„This really is getting away from it all! A beautiful, secluded retreat from the outside world!“

„This was a very charming house in Cumberland Gap. We were in the area for an event for LMU so the location was excellent. Everything was provided so that was a plus. The house was a 1928 house which gave it its charm. The books that were displayed were so interesting along with the family photos and albums. The only drawback which was not a big problem was that the refrigerator was not a full size fridge. It was probably a medium size fridge and it did have a freezer as well. Overall ...

„We enjoyed our weekend at the cozy cottage on the Cumberland gap. The only thing I would improve on is the bed that is very creaky. Also communication was minimal. I couldn’t see the links given in the message and the hosts didn’t respond to my question. All good though because it was just as pictured. “

„I did not stay at this property due to a double booking. I stayed at a nearby house that needs to be cleaned better, specially the floors, a shower curtain needs to be added to the beautiful update in bathroom, some plates woukd be nice. House rules and check in, check out procedures, places to visit and eat nearby would have been helpful to have posted at the house. Overall was a decent place to stay, quiet neighborhood. I would at least consider staying again.“

„Everything was clean and as represented in the listing. The driveway situation was not ideal, but the property manager informed me of this ahead of our stay, and added that they are working on that issue. Overall it was exactly as promised, and ideal for our stay.“

„The apartment was very comfortable. We didn't realize that it was upstairs. It was very hot temperature wise. Our manager was sending me e-mails. But I wasn't getting them. But once we were inside everything was perfect. Everything was very clean and well stocked. Everything was comfortable and very nice to return to after sightseeing. Once we had the wifi everything was a lot better on both sides. The house/apartment was located in a quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed the peace and quiet.“

„This apartment was perfect for my husband and I and 2 adult children. It was right downtown Cumberland Gap with great views and a cute patio to enjoy morning coffee. It had everything we needed and was extremely clean. The hosts was easy to communicate with and provided all the information we needed to enjoy our stay. “

„Long ago, my grandfather farmed the land across the lane from Denton's place, and there is no landscape more precious to me. The green hills and the blue, blue September sky took me back sixty years. Denton is a kind soul, a wonderful poet, and a gracious host.“
