„You are kidding, right? The Host reaches out while we were on the way because she could not honor our paid reservation. I called the number I got from VRBO app to help find something else, but that # is for“

„Absolutely beautiful !!!! Had to cut our trip short because of a puppy emergency but we WILL be going back as soon as we can . Absolutely loved the house and grounds . Loved the deers and fawns in front and back yard .“

„Such a perfect little spot right on the river!“

„Place was nice but very remote and not close to anything.“

„Our family loved our stay at the Elouise. Cabins were clean, outdoor space was great, and being right on the river was amazing.“

„We had originally booked the studio apt for Jan 9 to visit an elderly parent - a family emergency came up and we had to move our visit to as soon as possible - the owner kindly allowed us to transfer the booking to an earlier date, the 5th (the day after my distressed call) at the cottage instead so other family members could stay as well. Owner is not local, so apparently did not know that the cottage was not quite prepared for guests- it was clean, but not stocked and had some repairs going ...

„Our family enjoyed all the rooms & amenities at the house. Everything was beautiful. The pool & kayaking were a hit. Touring the Greenbrier bunker was educational for all of us. I emailed the owner about a couple of things & he responded promptly. A great place for all of us!“

Only thing worth noting is the 15min drive up the mountain on gravel through very rural area! Made us wonder if we were in the right place haha - but that rural setting is what makes it so lovely and peaceful. We definitely want to come back!“

„This place was perfectly suited for my family (ages 29 to 88)! The wraparound porch and views were our favorite part, but we also enjoyed the fire pit, the game room, and the big open feel of the living/dining room with lots of natural light. We were able to make our entire Thanksgiving meal in the kitchen! We saw lots of friendly deer all over the property, as well as a shooting star on our second night that looked like it was right above our heads. The whole thing felt magical, and we would ...

„Owners thought of every detail, even providing coffee, paper products (minus tissues), firewood and firestarter sticks. They came by and checked on us, were not intrusive at all. Very helpful, friendly and concerned that everything was ok, and suggested hiking trails nearby. Definitely recommend a stay here if you are looking for a relaxing time, beautiful sunsets and stunning mountain views.“

„Beautiful location overlooking the valley, with a stunning sunset view. The cabin itself ... wow, just perfect.“
