This place was overall pretty great! Staff were so friendly and polite and upgraded our room to a pyramids view room for free. Great views on the rooftop lookoff, close to shops, restaurants and tourist activities. Only issue we had were Ubers sometimes unable to get to us due to traffic jams but it never prevented us from getting to where we needed to go. Would recommend!!

Great care from the staff and fantastic Location

The staff at Horus Guest House were kind and hospitable. The view of the Pyramids both from my room and the breakfast terrace was stunning. I felt very safe there as travelling on my own. The room was basic, but comfortable. Given the price I thought it was very good value and very high quality. The location is very convenient for the pyramids but a little complicated to find without a map or directions as it is on a side street. It is in the middle of the stables area and there are lost of horses and camel around. A very enjoyable stay in a fascinating and very friendly country.

Nur 3 Gehminuten vom Eingang zu dem Pyramiden von Giseh entfernt. Perfekter Ausgangspunkt um Sakkara, Memphis, Daschur oder Kairo zu besuchen. Schöner Blick auf die Pyramiden von der Dachterrasse. Authentisches Treiben ( Kamel, Pferde usw. - um das Hotel herum) Aufdringliche Händler die den üblichen original ägyptischen China Ramsch verkaufen wollen ...

hervorragende Lage mit direktem Blick auf die Pyramiden und die Sphinx. Fußweg zu den Pyramiden ca. 2 Minuten. Ausreichendes Frühstück mit Wunschextras ohne Aufpreis, kostenloses Wasser kann jederzeit erhalten werden. Auskünfte zu der Stadt, Geschäften, Preisen und Ausflügen werden gerne und umfassend in Deutsch und Englisch erteilt. Das Hotel selbst organisiert Ausflugsfahrten und ordert Taxis oder Uber, die erst beim Check-out bezahlt werden können. Dem Hotel ist ein Souvenirladen angegliedert in dem Hotelgäste Ermäßigungen auf Essenzen (Parfüm Grundstoffe), Papyrus, Schmuck und Souvenirs erhalten. Jeden Tag gibt es auf Anfrage neue Handtücher und Bettwäsche.

Great hotel. Extremely friendly and helpful management. I always felt that we were taken care of exceptionally well. he service desk was manned 24 hours and the management was reachable 24 hours on whatsapp/mobile phone. The hotel management and its employees went extra lengths to satisfy all our requirements sometimes even bargaining on our behalf so that we get the best price!!! when we had to do some local shopping, The hotel even packed breakfast when we had to leave early in the morning on Sightseeing tours. Unbelievable experience, hats off to the team. I must admit that I have never seen a hotel that treats its guests so well. The local trips organized were planned to the last detail and the guides from the hotel had excellent knowledge about the place. The Highlights were the breakfast facing the pyramids in the early morning sun and dinner with the light show on the pyramids. Stay was relaxing and comfortable.

à part la vue sur les pyramides et les repas, les chambres sont décevantes, moteur de clim chambre voisine très bruyante, se faufiler entre le lavabo et le mur pour atteindre les wc, et attention la tête quand on se relève (lavabo). Eau à volonté je dirais 5/10

Accueil et gentillesse et la vue +++

Séjour très agréable dans un hôtel très bien situé avec terrasse face aux pyramides. Le personnel est serviable mais aussi très gentil. Le petit déjeuner égyptien est correct. Les tours avec guide proposés par l'hôtel sont sérieux et abordables. J'ai beaucoup apprécié le service et la gentillesse du personnel, mais aussi le petit déjeuner face aux pyramides. Je conseille vraiment cette expérience. J'y retournerais sans hésiter. Merci à toute l'équipe.

3 changements de chambres en une journée, la première ne correspondait pas à l'annonce sur le site, la deuxième sans eau chaude et avec une clim qui ne marchait pas et enfin la troisième fut la bonne, belle vue sur les pyramides, personnel en famille qui essayera toujours de vous baiser la gueule niveau argent, ou sur les escurtions , malhonnêteté du père , et incapabilité du premier fils , si vous tombait sur le deuxième fils lui sera arrangeant, c'est pile ou face

Overall good value for money. Fantastic view from the rooftop terrace of the sphinx & pyramids- which also means you are able to see the light & sound show. Very convenient for a visit to the pyramids as they are only a few minutes walk away. The hotel can also arrange tours for you if you wish and the price of these seemed similar to other providers. Staff are friendly and free bottled water is included. Food is available to order but it is a limited menu that often takes a while to arrive. However there are other options available within walking distance. Room was clean but furniture and fixtures are basic and do show signs of wear and tear. There is plenty of hot water and the air conditioning although a little loud does work well. WiFi was not very good in the room and worked sporadically on the roof terrace. Location means there is a lot of noise as well as a number of horses and a few camels on the streets around the hotel.

The Horus Guest House Pyramids View, overwhelmingly exceeded our expectations! The Guest House is in very close proximity to the Great Pyramids Complex; and the views from your room (Desert View) and the rooftop, simply can not be better anywhere in Giza. Everything you can possibly need is in walking distance and at no time did I or my wife not feel safe to explore the surrounding area. The most important part of this review that I want to share beyond the magnificent views; and cleanliness of this hostel, is the fantastic staff of Horus Guest House. The level of service, friendliness and attentiveness to their guest's needs are beyond compare and truly left us in disbelief! Every commercial hotel can take a page from this establishment's level of service. The needs and requests of the customer come first. The staff and especially Osman, can assist you in any aspect of your vacation planning in Egypt, from booking tours, car service, dining they are there for you. The Horus Guest House offers an extraordinarily generous discount, when you purchase items from their shop. If I am fortunate enough to return to Egypt, I will stay here again because like they told us, you are staying with and are now part of the family.

I wanna start by saying I felt very welcomed as if I was family here the people at Horus guest house made sure that I was very well taken care of and went to great lengths to ensure I had everything I needed to return home safely they offered many different tour options at very affordable prices I myself took their dinner cruise on the Nile witch was probably the most fun night I had. I plan to return to Giza with family and I will definitely be staying at Horus gh again I also might add that it is very close to the pyramids and the breakfast they provided for free every morning was excellent and traditional Egyptian. they also provided me with as much bottled water as I wanted. I don’t usually review hotels but I made it a point to leave a review on this one just because I had such a positive experience.

He viajado con mi hermana al Cairo desde Sharm el Sheikh y en aquella ciudad le habían robado unos 500 dólares y sumado al asedio de los egipcios(que ya se siente desde el aeropuerto) fuimos con una desconfianza extrema, estábamos reacios a aceptar cualquier ayuda que se nos ofreciera, situación que cambió en gran parte gracias a la hospitalidad recibida en el hotel. Fuimos recibidos por Saied quien nos dio ciertas indicaciones y nos dio la bienvenida. Nos sentimos a gusto, fue como estar en casa, la vista desde la terraza en dirección a las pirámides es magnífica, en la última noche pudimos disfrutar del show de luces desde allí. En nuestro segundo fuimos a la ciudad de Luxor por lo que no tomamos el desayuno en el hotel, grande y grata fue nuestra sorpresa que en la noche anterior dando aviso de ello, nos prepararon unos snacks para llevar y ya se ganaron nuestros corazones desde ese momento. Hotel familiar, acogedor, a metros de la entrada de las pirámides, volveríamos sin dudarlo.

Basic, good value and worth a visit.

Staff here could not do enough to make your stay comfortable. Each time you enter the hotel you are handed a bottle of water which is very welcome in this climate. We had our room changed to a much bigger room. Shower room small but adequate. Room was clean. Nice breakfast but the same every day. Excellent views of the pyramids. No lift so not suitable for anyone disabled as steps to 1st floor are steep and breakfast is served on 6th floor.

Friendliest hotel ever.

From the moment you arrive you are made welcome by Mohamed and his staff. Rooms basic but clean. Great view of the pyramids from rooftop terrace. From there you can see and hear the sound and light show. Only downside is area. Very dark and the noise and smells from the horses in the street day and night is disgusting. Wear your mask.

The place is nice and you have a clear view of the Pyramids from the roof top. Went there with my daughters, the staff/owners are very respectful and always available to help, day or night. You can walk to the Pyramid Complex, there are also restaurants, stores, pharmacies and everything you may need within walking distance. Isaim was excellent to us along with everyone else. We definitely recommend it.
