„Bedroom - good size and comfortable. Furnishings - dated but in reasonable condition. Didnt pre-order food as was not sure of arrival time. Evening meal was good but some delay on a pudding serving - as a result no charge for pudding and free drink - so all good“

„The hotel is situated in a beautiful area. The small village has 1 or 2 dinner possibilities around the market place and is charming - at least the center is. The hotel could use a lick of paint here ant there and you see that the owners do their best, but the castle is very large and surely there is much to do. „Our room was in the annex not the main hotel and for us this was perfect. We never heard anything from the events happening that weekend. The room needed a small amount of TLC including the grouting around the bathroom. However, it was clean, just needs a maintenance person to swoop out lightbulbs and touch up paint. „We picked a very cold night - the caravan didn't heat up at all. Owners where great with communication & caravan was clean (except one moldy curtain in living area & no light in main bedroom. However we did pick a night that was out of season & the temperature was in the minus 4 Mark.“
