„What a lovely surprise! This is a beautiful hotel in every way. The rooms are astonishing with so many little details. The renovations are incredibly impressive. The staff were fabulous. And the breakfast lovely. A truly relaxing stay and a great find.“

„Nice place. Convenient “

„We adored our stay and wish we had more time to spend here. What a wonderful country setting in a traditional B &B. Beautiful chapel views from our room which also overlooked a sweet field with sheep. We were welcomed at the door and bid goodbye personally. The cooked to order breakfast was wonderful and thoughtfully prepared and laid out. We would love to return if we are lucky enough to do so. True gem!!! Suzie and Wes from Oregon.“

„Very dusty bedroom, wood panelling behind the bed was full of dust and cobwebs. Shower tray had black mould present. Kitchen had alot of cobwebs, dead spiders. Fridge seal was filthy, oven glove had holes and was burnt needs replacing. Windows inside are filthy and to top it off dog poo left for days which you had to try to avoid in the dark. The owners are trying to sell the property and are clearly not bothered.“

„Lovely hotel, very old school. Beautiful orangey and the food was excellent. Comfortable rooms and really enjoyed our stay, didn’t know about the amphitheatre. Definitely go if you can, looks cool“

„a very nice hotel, with lovely staff and good spa.“

„Warm welcome Lovely room Breakfast delicious Check out could be better“

„Very helpful, friendly staff that made you feel at home, but also gave you space. The room was very clean and was cleaned everyday. Breakfast was of a high standard although it would have been even better had fresh fruit been included. We ate every evening in the restaurant and the food was amazing“

„Property is very tired. Spa especially so. Needs updated and decorated. Comfortable enough but basic“

„Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt in diesem historischen Anwesen mit besonderem Ambiente. Wunderschöne und sehr weitläufige Parklandschaft um das Hotel herum. Fantastisches Frühstück. Gutes Essen in Bistro und Restaurant. Schöne, große Zimmer. Tolles Team, das sich liebevoll um die Gäste kümmert. Wir kommen gerne wieder.“

„I stayed here as I had an event I was going to at the CBS Arena and I could literally walk there from where I was, so it was perfectly situated for me. The apartment had everything I needed. The apartment did have a standing fan, although I did take 2 extra little portable bedside fans as the weather was particularly hot. The only suggestions I have is that there could be a better mirror or lighted up mirror for doing make-up. I would also prefer curtains to the blinds as these did keep banging ...
