„We stayed at the Golden Lion with friends as we were walking the 3 peaks on the Friday, we both stayed in a classic room, the rooms were lovely, comfy bed, hair dryer, shampoo and conditioner, tea and coffee and bottled water, don't forget to ask for milk before bed. We ate in the restaurant both nights, the food was lovely and we had great service. We had asked for breakfast the morning of our walk as we had to leave at half 6, unfortunately they forgot to leave out any bread or bowls for ...

„A comfortable hotel, set to a high standard (and very welcoming to dogs). Good bar and separate restaurant serving a wide range of food and drink. Clearly popular with locals too. Highly recommended. Only sight issue for us was flight of stairs was a little difficult for our older dog.“
