„High quality room, with farm privacy and atmosphere. We would recommend it and stay there again. Only one thing: The ladder to the loft bedroom is quite steep. My wife struggled a bit with it. But then, she is in her late 60's. Nevertheless, a good place that we will recommend. A/C worked well, and was needed. Room very clean. We hardly saw staff, which was fine, as we enjoyed our privacy.“

„We had such an awesome stay at the Shawnee Apple Shack. It was so cute, clean, and had everything that we needed! There was plenty to do in the Southern Illinois area for the weekend. We definitely recommend staying there and would love to come back sometime!“

„The cottage was clean, spacious, had 2 bathrooms (which is uncommon for small cabins). It was very well stocked with kitchen items, and the bath towels were awesome, the bed was very nice. It was peaceful and beautiful. The hostess, Suzie was easy to contact and helpful when we had a question upon checking ìn. I would recommend this place and would stay again if we are in the area!“

„This property is great!! The house is clean and the host has thought of everything you might need. Very few rentals on the lake will provide coffee and creamer and pretty much any seasoning you can think of. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, utensils and even a crockpot. Allison responded right away when I messaged her. They have a great dog, Kevin, who visits the guests and takes a dip in the pond. Unfortunately we have very hyper dogs and one is not always receptive to other dogs so ...
