Bringing your pup? We’re pet friendly (with a fee) — because mountain mornings are better with your dog by your side.

Guest Access:

Guests have full and private access to the entire Cloud Cottage home and its outdoor spaces. You will enjoy a private entrance, a spacious living area, a fully equipped kitchen, a dedicated dining room, and two comfortable bedrooms, each with its own attached bathroom. Outside, you are welcome to use the garden and backyard area, which features outdoor seating and a fire pit for evening relaxation. Free parking is available for your convenience both in the garage and on the street. Whether you are prepping gear for a mountain adventure or relaxing after a day at the river, you have everything you need for a comfortable and private stay.

Cloud Cottage is perfectly positioned for those who want to experience the very best of Buena Vista. You are located directly across from the town newest park, offering a peaceful green space right at your doorstep. A short five minute drive brings you to the heart of downtown, where you can explore charming local shops, cafes, and restaurants. For outdoor enthusiasts, the Arkansas River is just minutes away for world class rafting and fishing, while the trailhead for local hiking and biking paths is easily accessible. Whether you are looking to grab a coffee in town or head out for a mountain adventure, everything is conveniently within reach of this serene retreat.



Getting Around:

Cloud Cottage is located in a beautiful mountain setting where having a personal vehicle is highly recommended for the best experience. You will have plenty of space for your vehicles with our private garage and dedicated street parking available on site. There is no reliable public transit system in town, so we suggest planning for a rental car if you are arriving by air. The drive from Denver International Airport typically takes about three hours. Once you arrive at the cottage, you are well positioned for short drives to the downtown area, local trailheads, and the Arkansas River.



Other Things to Note:

Welcome to our mountain home. Please be advised that this property does not have air conditioning. The high altitude of Buena Vista ensures cool evenings so simply open the windows and use the fans to refresh the home. Standard check in is at 16:00 and check out is at 10:00. You will have access to free parking on the premises. We are happy to host your pets for an additional fee. Please note that smoking is not allowed on the property.
