A little further along the coast, Bude (4.5 miles) offers a tidal sea pool for safe swimming and plenty of places to grab some fish and chips, while Widemouth Bay (7.5 miles) is great for bodyboarding and sandcastle building. Avid walkers will be in awe of the views on offer when joining the South West Coast Path or the rugged National Trust Heritage coast path, which spans in both directions. For exciting days out, The Milky Way Adventure Park (13.5 miles) has all-weather fun, including a falconry show and soft play, while The Big Sheep (21 miles) offers the world-famous sheep race and a selection of indoor and outdoor play.
