Southern Spirit is a large, three bedroom, three bath newly constructed log cabin that overlooks the Deep Creek community in Bryson City. This stunner is not only conveniently located less than 5 minutes from downtown Bryson City, but also less than 5 minutes from the Great Smoky Mountain National Park entrance at Deep Creek. The outdoor area of the cabin embraces it's beautiful surroundings with spacious covered porches on the upper and lower levels, complete with porch rockers & mountain views. There is also a gas grill, perfect for grilling up a nice dinner one eveining, a fire pit for campfire stories and s'mores, and the hot tub - just what you need after a day of exporing.
The interior was lovingly equipped for a most comfortable, and beautiful stay. The large kitchen is fully equipped and boasts granite countertops, stainless appliances, eat in bar, ample dining space, and decorative rustic lighting. This is open to the spacious living area with rocked gas log fireplace, comfortable furnishings, and flat screen TV with Direct TV service. On the main level you will find the large primary bedroom, which features a queen sized bed, huge walk-in closet for storage space, flatscreen TV with satellite service, and bath with tub/shower combo. The lower level of the home features a game room. There is a poker table, shuffle board table, and flat screen TV. There are two additional bedrooms on this level, each boasting a queen sized bed, tv, and private ensuite bath with tiled walk-in showers.
Southern Spirit sits within minutes to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park entrance at Deep Creek. This area is well known for it's hiking trails, waterfalls, tubing, swimming holes, fly fishing spots, horse back riding, and picnic areas. It's the perfect place to spend a nice sunny day in the mountains! This home is also located within a five minute drive to downtown Bryson City, where you can find the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad, which hosts The Polar Express and the Great Pumpkin Patch Express. It's also home to many boutique shops, delicious restaurants, and loaded with mountain charm. In an easy fifteen minute drive, you will find the Cherokee Indian Reservation and Harrah's Cherokee Casino. In the opposite direction, you will find the Nantahala River Gorge where you can enjoy world renowned whitewater rafting, kayaking, and zip lining.
