„We loved the house. It was very clean and roomy. This house was built to be lived in. What a great location for a day visit to Macinaw Island or bridge access and northern Michigan. „It was a bit tricky to find since it is hidden behind a hotel. Google maps took us to the right parking lot (Waterfront Inn) - just go all the way to the back. If you like the natural wood look, you will love this cabin. Just about perfect but missing some little details like wall hooks in bathroom/bedroom, a broom for sand on the porch, etc. Easy walk to Arnold ferry and downtown shops. „This will be our "Go To" place to stay in Mackinaw. By far the best place to stay if you like privacy, convenience and the perfect location. We slept 6 with no issues. Would be amazing for a couple. We will be back. “

„It was everything I was hoping it would be. Super clean and location was perfect. Just enough out of town to feel like a getaway but close enough for all kinds of entertainment. We enjoyed the beaches, restaurants, shopping, a nice cruise of the bay and as a bonus there was a vintage car show that was pretty nice. It was a very nostalgic visit. It reminded me of staying at my grandparents cottage as a child. Thanks so much. Definitely making plans to return.“

„The cabin was very cozy and located on a beautiful lakefront just 10 minutes south of Mackinaw City. Great lakeside amenities, spacious enclosed patio, and interesting artwork throughout. Blustery weather kept us from using the lakefront seating area during our stay but overall the cabin was perfect for everything else we did that weekend. “

„This 1928 school house has been converted into rentals. Very comfortable, close to areas I wanted to visit and explore... enjoyed my stay“

„John and Dianne are wonderful hosts. We ve returned for 4 years running. The cabin is simple and clean. Pet friendly which is why we return. Little things like -the mints and the Coffee / simple kitchen provisions well stocked. The little outer room lets us keep the bikes out of the weather. Close enough for a day over the bridge --and a simple drive to H. Springs or over to Petoskey. We LOVE the Petoskey Brewery and the North West Bike trail. Chances are very good we'll be back.“

"Poorly soundproofed, had a room with a window into the hallway outside, basically no daylight. Felt I was in the basement. Was supposed to get an upgrade. Told me they were full. Had to buses. It read vacancy outside. Mackinaw city feels like a tourist trap. If you go offseason, don’t book ahead, go to one of the many motels."
