„We had a really nice day in communication and check-in were very easy. Overall, it was a lovely day and we would definitely consider returning.“

„The house matches exactly what was described online. It's clean and cozy in a quite neighborhood. I'd rate it a five star and highly recommend!“

„The location and views from the cottage are quintessential coastal Maine. Small community with lobster pound and Maine Oyster Company across the street. John is a welcoming host and eager to make sure you enjoy your stay. The cottage is great for 2 people, equipped with the basics and has a great deck to enjoy the views. Planning to return next year. Great spot!“

„All we could say was wow! Words cannot express the view from this house! It looked like a picture! Beautiful view, fully loaded kitchen, spacious, comfortable beds, everything was perfect. I have the worst cell service and I couldn’t get the app to work but David answered my call right away and helped us get in. I’d highly recommend this property and we can’t wait to come back!“

„Great property well kept and close to everything we wanted to do“

„Arriving at Orchid Harbor and taking in the view, sound, and smell of the ocean across the lawn makes all of the daily stresses of the mainland melt away. The century old house is charming, welcoming, and comforting. It feels like you are staying with good friends or family. With all of the living spaces, it feels roomy and cozy at the same time and wraps around you like a hug. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. There are two bathrooms, one upstairs and one downstairs. ...

„Overall a great visit in an excellent location. I wished we stayed longer.“

„The location was beautiful. The house is nestled among the trees with a beautiful lawn both front and back. The decor of the home is so interesting with many antiques. There was a great deal of information provided about things to do in the area. It was a completely relaxing vacation and we were able to enjoy both Orrs Island and Bailey Island with limited driving“

„We had a wonderful stay! “

„We had a wedding in town which was about 3 miles away- easy drive. The place was clean but rustic. Pet friendly which was very important to us. John communicated well/ a really beautiful spot waking up to beautiful views!“
