"We had a really great stay at Van der Valk Hotel Brugge-Oostkamp. The hotel was beautiful, clean, comfortable and very pleasant overall. Our room was very spacious and had a separate sleeping area with two additional beds, which was perfect for a family. It gave us plenty of space and made the stay very comfortable. Bruges is not too far away, so the location is very convenient.
The only small thing I missed was that some basic bathroom amenities, such as cotton pads, cotton buds or a shower cap, were not already available in the room. I am sure we could have asked for them, but in a 4-star hotel I would normally expect them to be provided.
It was also a little noisy because the motorway is nearby, but overall this did not affect our stay too much.
We did not have breakfast because it was quite expensive. €26 per person felt too much, especially as our 12-year-old son is charged as an adult but does not eat very much. For three people, €78 for breakfast is quite a lot.
Apart from that, everything was excellent and we had a very good experience. I would definitely recommend this hotel, especially for families."
