„We had a very nice visit. The cabin was easy to find, and was perfect for our small group. The screened porch was great for avoiding rain and evening mosquitos while still getting to enjoy the sounds and scenery. Fishing was good, lots of bites. Mostly small fish but we caught a few bigger ones. This was exactly what I was looking for when I booked the trip - a quiet and peaceful lake cabin.“

„It is an interesting property with lots of outdoor deck space. Inside there is a comfortable living room. The beds are older and not made to support someone who is 200 lb or more (I purchased a blow up air mattress). The kitchen is well provisioned. I was there for work so did not explore the lake, it looks a bit swampy near the house. You need to bring your own boat to do this.“

„This cabin was a perfect fit for our family of 14, ranging in age from 1 to 60. There was plenty of room for all of us, the yard was HUGE, and the hosts were so responsive and friendly. Sand Lake was fun for fishing and the sandbar at the dock made for a great place for all our young ones to play in the water safely. They had everything we needed for a great vacation.“

„Windy and a bit wet this weekend. We manage to fish, and caught a few. Water issues with the one bathroom, plumbing maybe. Water in the basement? Not sure what that was about. „Our trip was a blast! The place was exactly as described, clean, and easy to find. We managed to sleep 10 people comfortably for 3 nights. The owner was generous enough to allow us to use their personal pontoon which was much simpler and convenient than renting through a 3rd party. Great weekend, highly recommend staying here!“

„This was my second stay so knew what to expect. Still wish there was a hand towel and towel hook available by sink. Water is not drinkable, but bottled water was provided. Very clean inside, outside grounds could use a lot of tlc.“

My only critique is that the kitchen area could use a bit of filling out, with effectively no consumables or spices available and an odd scattering of kitchen tools/pans, with heavy wear.“
