You get what you pay for.

If you just need a place to sleep without amenities in a very mediocre room then you get what you pay for. We did not want to pay a lot for just a few hours. The furniture is minimum and old and the tv is old and the satellite cable goes in and out. The comforter in my bed had a burnt cigarette burn and the bathroom was clean but the bathtub was old. The room has a little window unit. Despite the very old looking room, we still got a good night sleep and the best part is the adjoining restaurant that has awesome food. Whenever we visit Brownsville again, we will stay there because it is cheap but do not expect much.

Pésimas condiciones de higiene, con plaga de cucarachas, no se hace la limpieza al día siguiente, las sobrecamas y colchas huelen horrible. Se le comentó a la responsable y se molestó en lugar de justificar las incomodidades. No regresaría ni recomendaría esas instalaciones en esas condiciones.

First of all this picture is deceiving. The room were clean, but did not have any shampoo, soap (only liquid soap), nor cups. No coffee maker in your room or complimentary coffee in the lobby. If you stay there make sure you take your blow dryer. They offer a restaurant Mi Torito which opens at 7:00 am and closes at 3:00 pm, which the closing time was not mentioned when I booked the room. We checked in at 4. Now this little restaurant is very good. We had breakfast the next day and the coffee is awesome and so was the service.

Check in went smoothly . I noticed roaches in the room . My sheet had a cigarette burn and scratched me when I slept . The sheet wasn't cotton . The satellite system had a lot of channels I didn't like and no local channels . The manager followed me to my room when I came in late one night . I won't be staying there anymore .

The restaurant inside the hotel is really good and prices were fair. It is a busy hotel, people in the hallway on their phones and up all hours of the night. The front desk clerk was very friendly. We only stayed one night to cross the border and come back. If you need a cheap place close to the Mexico border this is the place to stay.

The access from the express highway and the near connection with the important Brownsville avenues. The smell into the room was terrible (we use an aromatized candle, and other type of deodorants), the air conditioned was too small for the room (half of ton - 6000 BTU) needs at least 1.5 tons 18000 BTUs..the bathroom also smell too bad
