„Great place to stay, especially with the dog. Fabulous walking right from the pod door. The pods are great, all clean, the double bed is definitely cosy but their description of the pod on the website is accurate, it is basic but they never profess to be anything else. Barbecue in front of each pod is great, we cooked supper and breakfast on it, for all you carnivores, the butcher in Fownhope is fabulous. If you just need a base to chill out in, this is absolutely perfect.“

„excellent location. Parking free from 3pm - 9am right outside the door. Very nicely renovated, good cooking facilities. Very friendly and helpful owner. Only downside for us was the bed is next to the wall so not so easy to get in and out of as a couple when you are old like us.“

„This is a lovely property, managed by a friendly and responsive host. I very much appreciated the high standard of cleanliness, especially with the linen which was impeccable. „The Lodge is absolutely beautiful and spotlessly clean! There is everything there you need, and there's far more space than the photos suggest.
