Great location on the beach. Close to all the sights we wanted to see. Owner lives on site and they were very nice and friendly but never intruded. We had a great time and falling asleep to the ocean sounds was what my soul needed. It is a bit dark if you come in at night for the first time especially for our old eyes. After first time it was no problem. Very nice stay!

The location cannot be beat. Amazing views. Loved the sound of the surf. We got in late at night and weren't quite sure which door the key worked for (maybe I missed this in the instructions), but it's the second set of sliding doors. They had everything you needed for doing dishes and laundry. The apartment was clean and well appointed. Because the family does live upstairs you can hear them moving about, but it was not disruptive at all. Very easy parking and lots to do in the area. We went out one morning at negative tide. We went to both Harris Beach and Lone Ranch Beach. There was more wildlife to see at Lone Ranch and they had volunteers to inform you about the creatures. We loved dinner at Catalyst Seafood and also had a great meal at Fat Irish. We also did a day trip to Crescent City and the Redwoods, which we highly recommend. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful view with beach sccess

My partner and I stayed here for the weekend. The apartment is clean and has everything a person needs. The kitchen is well stocked and simple meals can be prepared with the available hot plates and convection oven. The apartment is up high on a cliff providing great views of the ocean and there’s a path from the apartment that leads down to a secluded beach. We would definitely stay there again.

Absolute gem

The property location is so beautiful with a small walk down to the beach. We loved the location and apartment so much that we want to come back again soon. Ron the host reached out almost everyday asking if I needed anything and was super helpful. And a special mention about Rosaline the property manager who was very helpful with my checking in process even at 11.30 pm int hr night.Great property and great people...

Very relaxing

The location was great! We loved access to the beach. The path to the beach is on a hill. We took early morning walks along the beach and saw sea stars, crabs, and other sea critters that I don't know the name It is also located close to Harris beach and close to town. Also a great location to stay if going to the redwoods. The drive isn't too far. The bed was very comfortable. Plenty of hot water for myself, husband, and 6 year old. My child slept well on the couch. Overall it was a very pleasant stay.

Has awesome beach access!

We stayed for 4 nights in June of 2023. Perfect place for a couple. Private entrance and deck. There’s also a path down to a beach from the backyard. The beach is only for the properties in the area so we almost had it to ourselves! The owners were super nice. The washer at the time was being repaired and they offered to let us use theirs. Very comfortable bed as well.

What a view!

A cozy retreat with gorgeous sea views from the living area, bedroom and covered porch seating. The upstairs host is at once friendly and respectful of guests' privacy as well as attentive to their comfort (we had a minor issue on move-in that he saw to immediately), and we spent a happy long weekend reading by the fire and walking on the beach. Be aware that the path down to the shore is steep and can be muddy and a bit slippery in the rain, but it's being improved.
