„We were looking for a quiet getaway to relax and enjoy the outdoors, and Riverview was the perfect place. We enjoyed hiking on the 85 acre property, with lots of little hidden gems to find. Afterwards, a relaxing time on the beautiful wrap-around deck and a barbecue. The location is secluded, but close enough to get to the beaches and other towns within 20 minutes. „We stayed for an off season weekend which was quiet and relaxing. The cottage itself very clean, fireplace burner needs replacing and would have been excellent because of the chilly weather. Full kitchen, remember to bring not only food, you need to bring toilet paper, dish cloths, dish soap. Luckily there are stores nearby. Loads of hot water. The staff on site very helpful and accommodating upon our arrival. In summer season, definitely a lovely spot so close to the beach and port. “

„First off, the listing is not accurate - it states "5 bedrooms", it's 3 bedrooms, a sunroom and a loft. As well two bed pictures in the listing were not in the space we rented - this should be fixed. One of the "queen beds" was actually two box springs and a 2 inch foam piece - not even remotely useable. The kitchen is well equipped, but when we got there 2 of the 3 pot lights over the sink as well as the light over the stove was out-we replaced what we could. The space is large for sure, but ...
