The lodge is just a short drive from the iconic Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole Caves, and the Mendip Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, ideal for walking, cycling or simply soaking up the views. Visit the historic city of Wells with its magnificent cathedral or explore the quirky charm of Glastonbury and its famous Tor. Bath and Bristol are both within easy reach, offering excellent shopping, dining and cultural attractions.

Back at the lodge, you’ll find a peaceful, comfortable retreat. Set adjacent to the owner’s home, Mendip Lodge is completely self-contained and enjoys its own private entrance and balcony, perfect for a morning coffee or evening glass of wine.

Inside, the property features a stylish open-plan living, dining and kitchen area, fully equipped with modern appliances to make your stay hassle-free. There are two spacious double bedrooms, along with a sleek, modern bathroom featuring a large shower.

If guests are lucky, they may get to meet the owner’s friendly dog on-site! Dogs are welcome, so feel free to bring your four-legged friend along to enjoy the countryside with you. While the front hedge isn’t fully secure, the lodge makes a great base for dog-friendly walks and activities in the surrounding area. Off-road parking is available for guests.
