I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was incredibly disappointing. First, there's no concierge or on-site staff—you have to communicate via WhatsApp, and after 7 p.m., no one responds. You're basically left on your own.
The check-in process was overly complicated: a confusing mix of codes, virtual keys, and manual entry steps. Despite claims that every room has a physical key for convenience, I had to switch rooms twice and still didn’t receive one until the last day—after repeated requests.
The first room I was given was filthy—feces in the toilet, oily residue on the counters, and trash in the drawers. I was moved to another room, which was only marginally better. At that point, I just tolerated it.
Another serious issue: there’s no clear way to opt out of housekeeping. On two separate mornings, housekeeping entered my room unannounced—waking me up and ignoring basic privacy.
The only redeeming quality is the location. If you want to be in the middle of Fortitude Valley’s nightlife, it’s well situated. But that’s where the positives end. Poor service (Can't even store your luggage on departure day), a lack of cleanliness, and zero respect for guest privacy made this one of the worst stays I’ve had. I would not recommend and definitely won’t return.
