„Spent 4 nights in this lovely, comfortable and well equipped property. Great location with walks from the door and well placed to explore the Holme Valley, Yorkshire Sculpture Park, National Coal Mining Museum and for wandering off to the Peak District. Also convenient for Huddersfield. Quiet location minutes from Almondbury where there are shops, pubs cafe and also from Farnley Tyas and it’s pub. Note: the property is on a bus route to Huddersfield. Would we stay again? Definitely “

„It was a very peaceful spot set back from the road. The car wasn't parked on site but finding a spot on the road was easy and walking up to the cottage was guided with directions very clearly explained with photos by the host. The cottage was very secluded, clean and well equipped with a very detailed guide available to both the facilities and places to go in the area. Comfy bed, great shower, cosy lounge. „Well thought out cottage design very well presented but testing for size - just an extra 5% of space would yielded 20% increase in convenience and enjoyment. Hosts and neighbours are excellent. Parking is unusual but workable. As a couple (one Aussie and one Aussie born in Yorkshire) we really enjoyed our time at this cottage and would highly recommend it. Walk to village is 10 minutes and huge number of attractions within 40 mins.“

„Nice cosy retreat for 2 + little furry friend. Compact, but we knew it would be, and extremely well designed. Lots of lovely extras to add to the welcome and it was very clean, well set out, parking provided for nearby.
