„From outside it doesn't look as what to expect inside. It's a closed world that is quite, has a pool, pool-chairs, lounge, umbrellas and a nicely designed space. The room was a little tight, but went well. Everything was in working order an in an OK shape. The location is convenient for many activities in San Juna. So we were fine.“

„This location was amazing! The property a selected was a one bedroom and it did not disappoint. This is a great location as it is near a lot of different areas/beaches. It’s 5 min from the choli, less than 7 from La placita, about 15-20 from old San Juan. The property was clean and it was very comfortable. We did not have any issues during our stay. It was easy to access the property/room. About a block away there’s a small bar, Bonanza, which we loved! I will definitely book again with them ...

„The place is nice the best part the Niche restaurant in the hotel. It is amazing and the chef and his staff are incredible. I would go again just for the restaurant. I didnt like that the pool closes at 9 pm and that there is no parking so you have to parks several blocks away. There is no room service, so ask if you want your room clean. The beach is right there in the back of the hotel that was a plus. “

„The place is great, the pool, location, the design, everything is so nice BUT the check in. And to lock your room you have to turn the handle up, lock it and then let go (it was a little tricky to figure this out). Beside that I really recommend station here, it is quiet, near a lot of places, clean and super pretty.“

Great hotel in the middle of old San Juan

"This was my second time at El Colonial. As the first time, it was great. Staff are fantastic and so friendly and helpful. I always feel very welcome. Sadly I always just stay one night. But it is definitely worth to make my way here from the airport. Hotel is in the midst of old San Juan and lots of restaurants and bars are just a short walk away. Very nice roof terrace for some drinks or just some peace and quiet. I will certainly stay again."

"Kein Stuhl im Zimmer. Vergrgrößerungsspiegel im Bad ohne Stromanschluss. Gehört an die Wand, nicht auf den Waschtisch. Leider typisch amerikanisches Bettzeug. Kein Cover für Federbett , sondern nur einzelne Laken! Jeden Tag Chaos im Bett, außer man bewegt sich überhaupt nicht. Matratzen sehr gut."
