"Communication was great. Yard should have been mowed or at least kept up. Plus garbage was overflowing from previous renter. It worked well for our weekend at ND. My biggest issue was that the one bath was very small, especially with the options to have a number of people stay. We had 4 adults and it worked but not ideal situation."

"Graduation weekend makes finding decent accommodations tricky for any university town. Elkhart is a great location, being just 25min from ND. The house is situated nicely lakeside, and we enjoyed watching the daily parade of three Canadian geese pairs with many goslings making their way through the yard and the adjacent yards. One caution for very light sleepers: there is a very active train yard near Elkhart and the train horns can be heard throughout the night (and day) as they proceed...

"We had a hockey showcase at Notre Dame and this place was very convenient to get around the area. Place is very neat and clean. The loft upstairs was great for an extra room for kids. They loved it! I wish I knew the story about the bird that pecks at the master bedroom window. Every morning at 7:30 you have your own alarm! Lol. We were intrigued."
