„Das Hotel liegt sehr verkehrsgünstig unmittelbar an einer Hochstraße, die als Zubringer sowohl hinein in die schöne Stadt Portsmouth als auch zu vielen interessanten Ausflugszielen dient. Trotz dessen war es im Zimmer (unseres war der Straße zugewandt) ruhig und man konnte gut schlafen. Das Frühstück ist typisch englisch mit baked Beans und Sausages; hier hat uns lediglich etwas „frisches“ gefehlt. Wir würden das Hotel wieder buchen.“

„Considering the price, we had high hopes for our stay at this house, but unfortunately, we were quite disappointed. Upon arrival, we found the property was not very clean. There was urine left in the upstairs toilet, the downstairs bathroom was dusty with hair around the toilet, and the bath mat had been folded up while still wet. „This home is great with four bedrooms and a nice backyard. Was a short walk to restaurants and pubs. A convenience store a few doors down made it easy to buy anything we needed from food, snacks and drinks including spirits and beer. Hosts when above and beyond our expectations for us to have a wonderful stay. After four days we left and forgot a few things at the home. „Alles sauber, Personal freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Zimmer ruhig, Bett bequem. Super Frühstück, grosse Auswahl. Gemütlicher Aufenthaltsort mit kleiner Bibliothek. Zimmer nicht auf neustem Stand (Einrichtung, Geräte, Sanitäranlagen), ist mir aber egal, hat einen gewissen Charme.“
