Staff wonderful, restaurants, bars and lounges were plentiful and we loved the authentic timber construction and decor throughout the old areas of the hotel. Our only “complaint” was the overwhelming aromatherapy in the lobby, but it was Christmas-time so… to be expected? Overall a perfect location for visiting River Avon and historic Stratford. “

„Very nice location for exploring Oxfordshire. Typical English country hotel with good breakfast options and clean spacious rooms. Beware of the extra charge of 30 pounds per night for an extra bed. We booked for three people via Expedia and we’re not informed beforehand about that. It was only on the booking confirmation in very fine print. Breakfast staff was nice, did not have much interaction with the rest of staff. There were some problems with our booking dates so I think we ended up with a ...
