"Excellent location, right next to the train station, and the old town. Many eateries and shops. Nice reception staff, we managed to get an early check in. Linked to the basement carpark. We stayed in a suite (sofa bed opens up for 2 kids) and the room is big and well appointed. Only issue was lack of proper curtains at the sofa bed side. Overall a great place to stay for a visit to the area. "

"A nice, hotel with friendly staff. The main issue is that the hotel needs to be updated. This was the first time in decades that I checked into a hotel and was given an actual key to the room. The hotel is in a small, quiet town, but the people are nice. "

"Baban was the best part of my stay at the hotel! He was the kindest and most welcoming person I met while staying in Zurich! He gave great advice about navigating the city and handled any issues I had right away. I felt like a queen while staying at this new hotel. The rooms were huge, lovely bathrooms big beds. "Very disgusting no air conditioning, also bed blankets very heavy( winter type) very hot room , window can’t be opened to much, closed courtains make worst the heat , we had a bad time slipping. No solution was given. "

"Neighbourhood was great with proximity to forest paths, river and the famous Titisee and Schluchsee. The "detached quiet cottage for 4" left a lot to be desired. Transparency on costs per night: apparently price on Vrbo is for 2 persons, with each additional person at 15.80USD per night on my booking. Cleanliness: Living room sofa was full of hair from a previous occupant. The bed in the childrens room had traces of confetti or sweets from a previous occupant. Communication: Nothing explained about how heater works despite 2 degree temperature at night. Recycling and garbage disposal is not explained. Light switch in the bathroom was simply an open electrical connection. Nothing was mentioned about "the other light switch" concealed in the bathroom cabinet The stay in the cottage would have been a whole lot better if certain aspects were clarified, basic cleanliness was ensured and expectations not raised about a so called carefully "curated atmosphere"."
