„This cottage was the perfect place for a weekend getaway in the Charlottesville area! It has a nice secluded feel and yet is close to wineries, grocery stores, etc. We were not bothered at all by the train or cars on 250. The house itself is even more charming than in the pictures with carefully selected touches for a tea room vibe. It was comfortable and spotlessly clean. Mary was very responsive to questions and all instructions were very helpful. I would definitely love to return!“

„As my decades-ago college roommate and I met up to spend time together at this beautiful property, the setting was perfect. The setting is gorgeous, with a gentle stream, running alongside it, plenty of birds up in the nearby woods, and nice spaces outside to sit and enjoy nature. „Loved staying at the Birds and Bees Cottage. It was so peaceful waking up each day, sitting on the porch and enjoying the views of the farm. This cottage was the perfect spot to unwind after visiting some local wineries. It was quiet and very easy to relax on the porch with a good book in the evening. Hope to return in the fall. “

„This property is absolutely gorgeous with the mountains and streams! The home is set up perfectly and is dog friendly with fenced yard! We definitely appreciated the treats the first night we arrived. The bed was so comfortable and the bathroom was so beautiful. We loved all the art work as well. „The Plainfield Cottage is a perfect getaway. We came in for a graduation and were quite busy. However, each time I stepped into the cottage, it felt peaceful, bright and clean. Everyone in our party raved about how cute, comfy, well laid a house it is! "Positiv: Valet Parking Team toller Einsatz, Service und Speisen in der Sportsbar Negativ: Verhalten der Rezeption beim Empfang. Danach hätten wir schon Abreisen können. So ein Umgang mit einem Kunden geht gar nicht! Sauberkeit: Haare der Vormieter in der Dusche. Schimmel ebenfalls in der Dusche Türe am Balkon war nicht gangbar und konnte nicht verschlossen werden. Frühstücksservice. Es ist scheinbar ein Fehler ein Frühstück hier zu buchen. Es hat lange gedauert bis wir klären konnten, dass 20 Dollar angerechnet werden bei einer Bestellung. Ein Frühstück ist dafür aber nahezu mit Steuern nicht zu erwerben in diesem versnobten Haus (Kaffee, 2 Toast mit Marmelade, 2 Eier und ein Orangensaft, was wir als normales Frühstück beschreiben würden, geht nicht). Kaffee dann kalt und abgestanden. Bedienung max. unfreundlich "
