„After a 12 hour drive, I booked my room through Expedia at the Spark by Hilton, Harrisonburg. We arrived past midnight to find no one at the front desk to check us in. We looked around, shouted "HELLO" for some time then called Hilton customer service. The agent was not able to assist as the reservation was through Expedia, and advised us to call Expedia for a resolution. „The grounds and lake Toxaway itself were lovely. The room was very clean. Hallways and public areas were nice but not pristine. It's a very historical place. I was served champagne when I checked in...very nice. There were little food goodies in the room with high prices on them-i would have thought for over $500 a night, snacks would be complimentary. We will moist likely go back to celebrate our birthdays again.“
