Be in shape to hike and climb while you are here, especially if you plan on doing a ghost walk after walking the town all day! 5 friends girls trip was great! “

„The host, Mountain Mama, was great on communication throughout our stay. However, we had several serious issues with appliances and electronic devices. Some of them being health hazards and at least one of them a safety hazard. Although Mountain Mama sent out maintenance people to deal with the issues, the problems were not fully resolved during our stay. “

„Did a small girls night here and we had the best time! Out there and quiet for a get away and plenty to do inside for colder weather we loved the bookshelf full of board games and books and the piano to tinker around on! The gas fireplace kept the whole place cranking with heat no problems Definitely would stay here again!“

„Tony always answered my texts immediately and was very easy to work with. The place was just as expected; it was comfortable and all amenities were available. Towels were laid out on the beds and the comforters were cute and cozy. The place is well worn; some appliances, mostly gas stove and microwave and towel hooks were very worn out but still useable. We loved all of the amenities, space and privacy in this cabin. We would stay here again. “

„Great, cozy cabin for a couple! The place was clean and well-stocked. We had no issue finding the cabin and enjoyed the bit of privacy that the longer driveway provided. It was a little cool when we arrived but the lovely gas fireplace warmed us up quickly!We had originally planned to stay during a large snowstorm but the owner reached out, generously offering to reschedule for a later date due to the snow emergency. While updated, the place does have some quirks which are to be expected. Beware of the shower (curtained claw bath tub) on the 2nd floor. Bathtub can be slippery and difficult to get in/out for some. “

"The Resort and rooms are nice and staff really committed to make the stay pleasant. The new pool was not yet open and they first told us we could only use the spa pool if we book a wellness treatment or pay 60 dollars per person & day which was disappointing looking at the price tag of the hotel and the fact that they do charge a resort fee. After complaining we were finally allowed to use the pool. The problem should be solved now that the new pool is open. There are lots of activities to do and Middleburg town is cute. "
