The Benton MacKaye Trail is accessible from the property area, giving you the opportunity to explore the beautiful North Georgia mountains without making a separate trip to a trailhead.

Wander through the forest, enjoy the fresh mountain air and discover why this part of Georgia is such a special place for outdoor enthusiasts.

We've even provided hiking poles, trail maps and a daypack for guests to use.

Bring your hiking shoes, some water and your sense of adventure!

And when you're finished?

After a day of hiking, shopping or exploring the mountains, there's nothing quite like slipping into a warm hot tub.

Surrounded by the peaceful mountain setting, The Nook's private hot tub is the perfect place to relax tired muscles, enjoy a quiet conversation or simply soak beneath the stars.

As evening falls, the outdoor string lights create a cozy atmosphere that makes it easy to forget about everything waiting for you back home.

This is vacation.

COZY CABIN NIGHTS

Step inside and you'll find the warmth and charm of a mountain cabin.

Soaring ceilings and an open floor plan give the main living area an airy feel, while comfortable seating invites you to settle in and stay awhile.

During the cooler months, the wood-burning fireplace creates the perfect atmosphere for a relaxing evening.

Curl up with a good book, enjoy a movie or spend time catching up with the people who matter most.

The fireplace is available seasonally, typically October through April. Firewood is not provided but can be purchased locally.

A KITCHEN THAT FEELS LIKE HOME

Whether you're preparing a big breakfast before hitting the trails or making dinner after a day of exploring, The Nook has you covered.

The Nook comfortably sleeps up to six guests with three inviting sleeping spaces.

MAIN FLOOR — QUEEN BEDROOM #1

A comfortable queen bed and a peaceful space to recharge after a day in the mountains.

MAIN FLOOR — QUEEN BEDROOM #2

Another welcoming queen bedroom, complete with a workspace for anyone who needs to check in with the real world between adventures.

The two main-floor bedrooms share a full bathroom.

UPSTAIRS — KING LOFT SUITE

Head upstairs to the beautiful open loft featuring a king bed, a cozy window seat and mountain views.

The loft also has its own private ensuite bathroom, giving upstairs guests additional convenience.

It's a wonderful spot to enjoy a quiet morning, read a book or relax before bed.

Please note: The loft is open to the living area below rather than a fully enclosed bedroom, so sound privacy is more limited than in the main-floor bedrooms.

The covered deck is where so many of the best moments at The Nook happen.

Morning coffee in the rocking chairs.

We know a mountain getaway is even better when your dogs can come along!

The Nook now welcomes up to two dogs, so your furry family members can join the adventure.

With beautiful mountain surroundings and hiking opportunities nearby, there's plenty for everyone to enjoy.

We even provide dog blankets to help make their stay more comfortable.

Pet fee: $50 per dog.

Please keep dogs supervised and follow the cabin's pet guidelines.

A FEW THINGS TO KNOW

WOOD-BURNING FIREPLACE

The indoor fireplace is available seasonally, typically October through April. Firewood is not provided but can be purchased locally. Please follow all fireplace instructions.

HOT TUB

The private hot tub is available for your enjoyment. Please follow the posted safety instructions.

OUTDOOR FIRE TABLE & GRILL

Propane is provided. Please turn off the gas after use and follow all safety instructions.

PETS

Up to two dogs are welcome with a $50 pet fee per dog.

MOUNTAIN ROADS

The Nook is located in a mountain community. Road conditions, terrain and weather can differ from what you're accustomed to. Please drive carefully, particularly after dark or during inclement weather.

LAWN MAINTENANCE

Lawn care generally takes place twice per month. Exact dates vary.

SECURITY CAMERA

A Ring camera is located on the front porch and faces the driveway. There are no cameras inside the cabin.
