Stairway To Heaven is a nicely updated and renovated three bedroom mountain cottage with two full and two half bathrooms, wood floors, high vaulted ceilings and windows providing a bright space with plenty of natural light. This lovely home sits atop Appalachian Ski Mountain, at the same altitude as the top of the ski slopes! Stairway To Heaven is less than a mile from the ski slopes, less than two miles from Tweetsie Railroad and the Blue Ridge Parkway, about four miles from downtown Blowing Rock and downtown Boone.

The main floor features an a living room with vaulted ceilings and and comfortable furniture situated around the gas log fireplace and big screen tv. The full kitchen is flanked by a dining area and a breakfast nook, offering ample dining options for a full house. Enjoy the mountain views from the deck while relaxing with morning coffee or grilling on the electric grill. The primary suite on the main floor has an HDTV and a full ensuite bathroom with a jetted soaking tub and separate shower. There is also a half bath/powder room off the great room.

The upstairs loft sleeping area has a twin bed with a twin trundle and includes a writing desk and tv. Downstairs offers a den/family room with an HDTV, kitchenette bar top table with stools for enjoying snacks and drinks. The bedroom on the lower level features a queen bed, a writing desk and ensuite bathroom. Additionally, the family room sofa converts to a queen size sleeper for two more guests. A lower-level covered deck off the den/family room provides more outdoor space to enjoy the mountain views.

Stairway To Heaven offers tv service via amazon fire sticks on all tv's, wifi and a laundry room on the lower level. There is central heating and air for year round comfort in the mountains. Up to two pets are welcome to be included with a reservation, additional pet fees apply. The yard has a split rail fence, but is not secure for dogs.There is a level gravel driveway with ample space for up to three cars, winter travelers are encouraged to come prepared for inclement weather with 4 wheel drive vehicles.
