The wildlife and farm animals made the trip even more special — we spotted deer right off the porch, watched cows and goats roaming the property, and absolutely fell in love with the sweetest donkey you’ll ever meet.If you’re looking for a quiet retreat with charm, comfort, and a little bit of country magic, this cabin is the spot. „The Captain’s Cabin was charming, beautifully decorated, and VERY comfy! Jan and Tammy certainly went above and beyond with communication and treats including Christmas cookies! Our stay was just an overnight so we did not get a chance to appreciate the outdoor activities that the cabin grounds allowed (lake, stream, canoeing)…. Maybe we need a return trip?We would highly recommend the Captain’s Cabin. Beautifully maintained, very clean, well appointed, and it is just like sleeping in a movie ...
